Eligibility

• Distinguished academician of proven academic and administrative excellence
• Minimum ten years as Professor in a university system, or ten years in an equivalent position in a reputed research or academic organisation
• Below 66 years of age as on 8 January 2027 (born on or after 9 January 1961)

• Fixed pay of ₹2,10,000 a month with a special allowance of ₹11,250, plus dearness allowance and other usual allowances.
• Tenure of four years from the date of assuming office, or until the age of 70, whichever is earlier.
• Apply three ways: fill the form on the HIMS portal, e-mail the scanned form as a PDF with the subject “Application for the post of Vice-Chancellor of Sambalpur University”, and send the ink-signed hard copy by Speed Post only.
