• Assistant Professor: Master's with 55% and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC rules, or a professional artist with a Bachelor's degree and 'A' grade AIR/Doordarshan standing.
• Professor: Ph.D. with ten years of teaching or research and a research score of 120, or an eminent professional artist with a Master's degree and ten years of outstanding performance.
