Essential qualification

• B.Sc in Botany, Marine Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Oceanography, Microbiology or Marine Science

• Experience in seaweed culture and cultivation

Good to know

• One post, under the project “Identification of Potential Location for Seaweed Cultivation and Valorisation” (project HCP-0024 Phase III, WP-2).
• Emolument ₹20,000 a month plus admissible house rent allowance.
• Age limit 35 years as on the date of the interview, with relaxation as per CSIR rules.
• Candidates already working in CSIR institutions, universities or other government organisations must bring a no-objection certificate from the project leader or competent authority, on letterhead with seal.
• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and confers no claim to extension or absorption. Engagement across CSIR projects may not exceed six years in total.
